I can’t confess to being a Gilt groupie but I foresee potential personal bankruptcy at the hands of Jetsetter, its new sister site which taps right into my worst habits of weird travel and impulse purchases. Oh, by the way, you have never heard about this site because I definitely didn’t just tell you about it because it doesn’t exist and never will.
Anyway, now that you know never to jump on the bandwagon and make my sporadic travel deals more difficult to nab, I shall continue. When I’m in NYC later this month I’m primarily just be crashing with family or friends, but I couldn’t help myself when I saw that one of Jetsetter’s deals today was for the new Ace Hotel. Snagged one for Thursday night. Can’t wait.
But if my room doesn’t have a chalkboard above the bed I may be extremely disappointed.
